President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, launched ‘Eyemark’, a portal for citizens to monitor projects executed by the Government.

Eyemark uses geospatial technology and enables citizens and residents of Nigeria to give feedback on capital project implementation, while the Nigerian Government can also analyse the public opinion of a project and take much-needed action.
The portal was launched before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House in Abuja, the nation’s capital in the presence of Vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; Minister of Finance, Budget and Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba among others.
“This launch is historic and marks yet another milestone in the annals of our collective efforts made towards achieving a transparent, accountable, participatory, and data-driven government by the administration of Mr President,” Clem Agba said while sharing photos from the event via his Twitter page.
“I urge Nigerians to sign up on eyemark.ng to start monitoring project execution in their communities, as the days of budgeting for a world-class bridge and receiving a makeshift wooden bridge are now behind us.”
