40ft Container Falls On Vehicles In Lagos

A 40ft container fell on vehicles, killing commuters on Thursday afternoon.

Gatekeepers News reports that the incident happened at Cele bus stop along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, Lagos State.

It was gathered that the driver of one of the popular yellow commercial buses (danfo) was immediately confirmed dead.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has confirmed the incident, explaining that the accident happened at the main carriageway of PM gas station inward Cele express.

“It involved an upturned 40ft container on a commercial bus.

“Police officers from Ilasa division are on the ground doing the needful and also effort is on for recovery,” the agency wrote on its official Facebook page.
