Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the suspension of Drambi Vandi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), who was arrested over the killing of Bolanle Raheem.
Gatekeepers News reports that the PSC Spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani announced approval in a statement on Thursday.
The suspension comes hours after a recommendation by Usman Baba, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
Raheem, who was pregnant at the time of her death, was shot on December 25 in the Ajah area of Lagos state.
According to Ani, the suspension takes effect immediately.
