All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council has canceled its rally billed for February 16 in Kano state, Northwest Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that the cancellation was conveyed in a notice by a house of representatives member and secretary of the council, James Faleke.
“Good evening all. Please be informed that the next Kano Rally for the 16/2/23 is hereby canceled. Signed. James Faleke,” the council tweeted.
The presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in Kano on January 4 for a north-west rally.
On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari was present as Tinubu took his campaign to Sokoto.
