Senator representing Anambra North, Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah OON, on Thursday, announced an end to all campaign activities.
Gatekeepers News reports that all forms of campaign activities for Stella and her party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will end Thursday at midnight in accordance with the provisions of the 2022 Electoral Act.
This was disclosed in a statement made available by the Senator’s Director of Media/Publicity, Ezennia Nonso Chukwudebe.
“On behalf of our principal, the Distinguished Senator Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah OON, we wish to announce to the general public that all forms of campaigning activities of our candidate and her party the PDP, shall come to a conclusive end by midnight today,” the statement reads in part.
Ezennia noted that “all campaign teams, support groups and members of the now disbanded Senator Stella Oduah campaign council, to ensure that this directive is completely adhered to and to also ensure that no media presentations, press briefings, TV or radio commercials, social media postings or print and electronic materials, are done or distributed beyond the 12AM deadline, tonight.
“On our part, we advise media houses and the general public to please disregard and ignore any material sent in for publicity as such would never come from our highly esteemed and law abiding media directorate.
“Going forward, any such materials found on social media and the public space, should be ignored as such does not and cannot enjoy the blessings of the media directorate of the PDP senatorial candidate for Saturday’s general elections, Distinguished Senator Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah, OON.”
