Edo Muslims for Equity and Good Governance, EMEGG, has congratulated Nigeria’s President-Elect, Bola Tinubu for his victory in the last presidential poll.
Gatekeepers News reports that the religious group in a statement signed by its President, Sirajudeen Muhammad described the victory as a well-deserved mandate.
The statement read, “When Allah intends good for us, HE DECREES it. HIS command is certainly a divine ORDER beyond what His creatures can frustrate. His ways are beyond what the human mind can decipher. When HE Wills a matter, HE says “Be, and it becomes!”
“As Muslims and a body that stood firmly to deliver on your mandate, we congratulate you The President-Elect, on your victory at the polls.
“Your Excellency, given your uncommon administrative acumen, your profound knowledge in the management of human and material resources, we have no doubt that the best is about to happen to our Great Country with your coming to office on May 29,2023 as the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed
Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is indubitable that this is Allah’s doing.”
Muhammad added that Tinubu’s political trajectories and track records in leadership have held even his most implacable adversaries in awe, noting that his “sagacity in management is legendary.”
He wrote further, “We are deeply proud of your accomplishments. We are elated that with your coming as President, we are sanguine that we will experience the Nigeria of our dream.
“While we do not pretend that the task before you is humongous, we are comforted by our knowledge of the fact that challenges make you stronger.
“Your mission is divine, by Allah’s grace and mercies you will find the task light for you to carry out.”
The religious group added, “For those who are out to contest your divinely given mandate, we pray that Allah will grant them the humility to acknowledge that only Allah grants power to whomever HE Wills. May Allah tame those who are out to foment trouble and render them prostrate.
“Your Excellency Sir, we shall continue to pray to Allah to assist you to discharge your responsibilities to Nigerians. We will continue to invoke Allah to bless you with the best of health, wisdom and the needed capacity to take Nigeria enviable heights. May Allah bless Nigeria. Once again accept our congratulations on a well deserved.
