Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has congratulated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Ramadan

Gatekeepers News reports that Agba in a press statement urged Muslims to use the period of Ramadan to engender peace, unity, and religious tolerance among believers of different faiths to create a conducive atmosphere for the achievement of sustainable development and growth.

The Minister said, “Ramadan is a period of sober reflections on those virtues that will promote love, peace, and unity in the country.”

Agba posited that there was a need for Nigerians to support and pray for the APC-led federal government to continue to deliver on its promises to the people.

According to him, this would encourage good governance, quality leadership, and robust representation by elected and appointed persons into public offices.

He, therefore, urged Muslims to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan to receive the blessings that come with it.

While advising the Muslim faithful to see the month of Ramadan as a period to seek the face of God to experience peace and harmony in the country, he wished them a successful Ramadan period and prayed the Almighty God grant Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the wisdom and understanding to implement his blueprint for Nigeria in line with his promises during the electioneering period.
