The victory signifies a promising 2023 for AJ, having lost his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk last year as the win was essential to get his heavyweight career back on track.
The victory would also set up potential clashes with the likes of Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, and breathe new life into a world title challenge.
