Linda Ifeoma Ikeji, popularly known as Linda Ikeji is a Nigerian blogger, writer, entrepreneur, and former model.

Early Life

Ikeji was born on 19 September 1980, and raised in a Catholic family from Nkwerre, Imo State, Southeast Nigeria.

She began writing at the age of 10. Ikeji studied English language at the University of Lagos. While in school, she had part-time jobs as a waitress, model, and writer.

Ikeji started blogging as a hobby in 2006. At that time, the internet was not as prominent in Nigeria and she had to make her posts at a cybercafé. She became an active blogger in 2007 using a blogger sub-domain lindaikeji.blogspot.com and later obtained her domain www.lindaikejisblog.com.

Ikeji has also ventured into online radio broadcasting, music, social networking platform, and a non-profit project themed “I’d rather be self-made; No thanks.”

In August 2012, Forbes listed Ikeji as Africa’s 20 Most Prominent Women.

She was once interviewed by BBC on their Focus on Africa programme. The interview aired on 25 September 2012.

On 8 August 2018, Ikeji received a Honorary Doctorate Degree from Trinity International University in Georgia for her outstanding job in Business and Media in Africa.

In 2023, Ikeji made her debut into the Nigerian film production, by producing her first movie titled Dark October which centered on the Aluu Four lynching story.

Personal Life

Ikeji has a son with Sholaye Jeremi whom she met in 2015. She, however, said they are not suitable partners.
