JUST IN: INEC Resumes Collation Of Adamawa Governorship Results 

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reconvene at the Adamawa State Collation centre days after the commission suspended the collation exercise.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Administrative Secretary of the commission in Adamawa, Adamu Gujungu, who has been mandated to replace the erring Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Yunusa Ari, was seen at the collation centre.

Also at the collation centre is Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye.

Recall that the electoral umpire had on Sunday suspended collation for the Saturday supplementary governorship election in the state, following which Ari announced Aisha ‘Binani’ Dahiru of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the election over the incumbent, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
