Kevin Feige is an American film and television producer who has been the president of Marvel Studios and the primary producer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise since 2007.

Early Life
Feige was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Westfield, New Jersey, the son of Maralyn and Tim Feige. He moved to New Jersey at the age of eight and lived there until the age of eighteen when he graduated from Westfield High School.
His maternal grandfather, Robert E. Short, was a television producer in the 1950s, working on soap operas including The Guiding Light and As the World Turns.
After high school, Feige attended the University of Southern California, the alma mater of his favourite directors: George Lucas, Ron Howard and Robert Zemeckis. His first five applications to the USC School of Cinematic Arts were rejected, but he was accepted on the sixth. He graduated in 1995 with a degree in film.
Career
Kevin’s knowledge of Marvel comics led Donner to make him an associate producer on 2000’s “X-Men,” and later that year, Marvel Studios CEO Avi Arad hired Feige as his second-in-command. Kevin worked as an executive producer (uncredited) on 2002’s “Spider-Man” and co-produced 2003’s “Daredevil” and “X2: X-Men United,” then executive produced “Hulk” (2003), “The Punisher” (2004), “Spider-Man 2” (2004), “Man-Thing” (2005), “Fantastic Four” (2005), and “X-Men: the Last Stand” (2006). In March 2007, Kevin became Marvel Studios’ president of production, and that year he executive produced “Spider-Man 3” and “Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” In 2008, he produced the TV series “Wolverine and the X-Men” and the films “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” and “Punisher: War Zone” (uncredited), followed by “Iron Man 2” in 2010 and “Thor” and “Captain America: the First Avenger” in 2011. In 2009, The Walt Disney Company acquired Marvel Entertainment for the sum of $4.24 billion.
In 2012, the first film in “The Avengers” franchise was released, and Feige said the idea of “a shared, ongoing, fictional narrative with characters inhabiting the same shared universe” came from the comics, but that “up until 2008, that hadn’t been possible in movies.” “The Avengers” grossed $1.519 billion at the box office and was followed by 2015’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” and 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame.” Kevin produced 2013’s “Iron Man 3” and “Thor: The Dark World,” 2014’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Guardians of the Galaxy,” 2015’s “Ant-Man,” and 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War” and “Doctor Strange.” From 2015 to 2016, he executive produced the ABC series “Agent Carter,” then he produced “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” (2017), “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (2017), “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017), “Black Panther” (2018),” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp” (2018).
In 2019, Feige was named CEO of Marvel Comics, Marvel Animation, and Marvel Television. That year he produced “Captain Marvel” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” and it was reported that he would be producing a new “Star Wars” film for Lucasfilm and Disney. In 2021, he produced the film “Black Widow,” the Disney+ series “WandaVision” and “Loki,” and the miniseries “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.”
