Federal Government of Nigeria has provided buses to take Nigerian students out of war-torn Sudan to Egypt where they will be evacuated to Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa confirmed the development while sharing pictures of the students as they queue to board the buses.

She tweeted: “As our students in Sudan queued up orderly to board their buses to Egypt en route to Nigeria, supervised by Nigerian mission officials in Sudan. Let’s remember them in our prayers as they journey home. War is a terrible thing!!”
