A stranger’s compassion can indeed make the world a better place. The story of Ibrahim Momodu, a man with a severely damaged liver, was recently made public when it seems all hope was lost.
Gatekeepers News reports that Artemis Hospital in India Ibrahim confirmed that Momodu has a Chronic Liver Disease which requires urgent surgery. He was asked to raise the sum of $35,000 for the surgery.
Similarly, MediGence billed Ibrahim Momodu a separate $10,480 for; follow-up for consultations, follow-up medical tests, medications, local travel, guest house/hotel, meals, visa fee and airfare, totalling amount needed to $45,480 which is equivalent to ₦33,655,200. As of Monday, May 1st, 2023, Ibrahim Momodu has received a total donation of ₦28,203,700, from compassionate individuals and organisations. The development is a sign of hope for Ibhraim even though the total amount is yet to be raised.
Ibrahim Momodu, however, has less than 13 days to raise the remaining amount as his life depends on the transplant surgery.
