The Guinness World Records says it will review all the evidence first before officially confirming the world record set by Hilda Baci, the Nigerian chef.
Gatekeepers News reports that Last month, Baci announced her intention to set a new world record for the longest cooking marathon.
Baci achieved the feat in the early hours of Monday at the Amore Gardens, Lekki in Lagos.
The Nigerian chef made history after cooking for more than 87 hours and 45 minutes, breaking a record that was previously set by India’s Lata Tondon back in 2019.
While Nigerians celebrated Baci’s achievement on Twitter, a user wondered why the Guinness World Records hadn’t said anything about Hilda’s new record.
