The Caridad Ernesto Empowerment Foundation (TCEEF) has distributed food and essential items to over 500 beneficiaries across Edo State.
Gatekeepers News reports that TCEEF, at the event which took place at Lecky Event Center, Auchi in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State on Thursday the 25th of May, extended her philanthropic scheme to include people with disabilities and widows.
Other beneficiaries include those who got a business boost (grant) and scholarship for academic exercises.
Director of the programme, Mohammed Oti Tijani, while speaking to journalists, explained that TCEEF decided to add the specially-abled-people to the scheme, to achieve an all inclusive feat.
He stated that being a non-governmental organization without any political concerns, it is only right that as the scheme grows it tries to capture virtually every needy person, notwithstanding who they are or where they are from.
On his part, the supervisor of TCEEF, Rafiu Bello said it was important that the specially-abled-people are impacted because most of them do not get the opportunity to make ends meet like able people.
He revealed that an indigent medical student from the Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma was also Awarded Scholarship while others got grants to boost their businesses.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to God for the emergence of The Caridad Ernesto Empowerment Foundation.
They noted that although they were skeptical about the scheme when contacted, but it has become clear that TCEEF is real and has no hidden agenda other than touching the lives of people he (the sponsor) may never get to meet.
Gatekeepers News reports that this is the 4th edition of TCEEF empowerment and philanthropic programme in less than a year of its establishment.
