Ambassador Aminu Wisdom, a diplomat, and former Nigeria’s Principal Representative to the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS has expressed deep shock at the news of the death of Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications.

Gatekeepers News earlier reported that Dokpesi passed away on Monday, May 29th, 2023.

Wisdom, while eulogising the late Dokpesi said “It was difficult to put into words the immeasurable qualities and virtues of our elder brother, who meant so much to so many.

“He had a great sense of humor and paid close attention to every detail in conversations.”

Wisdom added, “As a distinguished figure from Nigeria and the Etsako land, born into a noble family, he found immense joy in helping the less fortunate. He was a remarkable person, always the first to offer assistance in times of need. As he meets our creator, may he find mercy and forgiveness for any shortcomings.

“In an extraordinary way, he surpassed everyone’s expectations. He embodied compassion, duty, responsibility, and loyalty. He provided quiet strength in difficult times and wise advice during uncertain moments.

“He was an honest man, often expressing his convictions without deception. In all his endeavors, he aimed for greatness and left a lasting impact, showcasing his talents. Nigeria and the world will forever be grateful for his contributions.”

The statement read further, “He was a practical scholar, driven by hard work even in the most challenging circumstances, as I witnessed during our trip to Ghana.

“In raising his family, he possessed a unique kind of strength that few others could match. He has truly left a lasting legacy and will always be
remembered for who he was. In our private conversations, he shared his concerns about the political leadership in Nigeria and how it could
be improved.

“His passing is a significant personal loss for all of us, but we will find solace in the cherished memories we have of him. He dutifully and
respectfully filled the role of a big brother in all situations. He was a gracious host, a loving father, a skilled strategist, and an accomplished
academician.

“We are grateful for the lessons he taught us about selfless and altruistic love.

“My dear elder brother, you will be deeply missed and forever appreciated.”

May you rest in eternal peace in God’s presence. Amen.
