Tinubu’s Google Ranking Soars As Obi And Atiku Plummets

President Bola Tinubu Google ranking has soared past Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential candidates, Peter Obi, and Atiku Abubakar

Gatekeepers News reports that while Obi and Atiku’s rankings plummet sharply, Tinubu’s Google Search interest on Google has continued to soar.

The latest ranking released on Google Trends shows that Tinubu polled 82% ahead three others, who contested the last election with him-Obi, Atiku and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

While Tinubu polls 82$, Obi polled 12%, Atiku, four percent and Kwankwaso, two percent.

Meanwhile, the latest Google search interest was captured between 22 May and 16 June, period of 28 days.

This is a sharp contrast from the ranking before the last presidential election.

Three days to the February 25 Presidential election, Tinubu led with 45% search interest on Google with Obi’s 29%. Atiku then had 26% and Kwankwaso, three percent.

Despite his absence from public glare, a month after the presidential election, Tinubu‘s popularity soared, polling 54%. Obi, on the other hand came a distant second with 36% search interest despite ‘Obidients’ rave on social media. His ranking had improved after the election. Atiku dropped drastically then to eight percent, while Kwankwaso dropped to two percent.

Following the swearing-in and post inauguration of the president, the latest ranking showed Tinubu popularity galloped over Obi, Atiku and Kwankwaso to 82%.

His highest search was on 29 May during his inauguration where he delivered his inaugural speech, where he said “fuel subsidy is gone.”

Tinubu was being searched most in Benue, Sokoto, Gombe, Kano, Yobe, Republic of Niger, Bauchi, Kogi, Kaduna, Kebbi, Adamawa, Plateau, Akwa Ibom, Ondo, among others.

Obi dropped drastically from the 36% he garnered in April to 12%, representing his all time low. This stems from the fact that he lost the presidential election and the voice of his vociferous followers seems to have been swallowed.

Those who searched for him in the latest ranking are from states, such as Benue, Anambra, Enugu, Cross River, Abia, Nasarawa, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Plateau, Imo, among others.

Atiku’s four percent search interest came from Gombe, Kebbi, Taraba, Plateau, Kano, Borno, Katsina, Nasarawa, Cross River, among others.

Also, Kwankwaso is being searched on Google in places, such as Yobe, Gombe, Katsina, Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Ekiti, Republic of Niger, Borno, among others.
