Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, accompanied by a team of Police officers, have thwarted an oil theft attempt at an NNPC pipeline in the State.
Gatekeepers News reports that Owohunwa and his team intervened at a site in Idimu where oil thieves had illegally gained access to an NNPC pipeline in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Although the thieves were in the process of filling their tanker with stolen PMS, upon spotting the swift response of the Police, the criminals swiftly fled the scene, abandoning their truck and tools.
