Gatekeepers News reports that earlier today-Friday, Sanwo-Olu sent a list of his Commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly.

The Chief Press Secretary (CPS), to the governor, Gboyega Akosile said the list consists of 39 names with 30% women, youths, technocrats and politicians.

Aregbe, who is a Political Science graduate of the University of Lagos, is a cosmopolitan politician and businessman.

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, Aregbe was the Organizing Secretary All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos chapter Youth.

In 2021, Aregbe contested for the seat of Surulere Local Government’s chairman in the APC primaries but lost. Despite this, he restrategised his activeness in grassroot politics thereby intensifying his efforts in the promotion of youth-based ideas that will strengthen youth and also engage them in the work of Nation-building as leaders of tomorrow.

In the recent election (2023 general elections), Aregbe was the Southwest Secretary, National Youth mobilisation of the All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Council, APC PCC in the recent elections.

His interest in hospitality, culture, entertainment, import and export and branding, sojourned him into business.

The Commissioner Nominee spreads his tentacles beyond just business by being a cultural ambassador with his annual Cultural event called Culturatti

Through Culturatti, Aregbe has propagated Yoruba culture among the youth demography in and outside Nigeria. Under his watch, through the ‘Sisi Oge’ beauty pageant, Aregbe has promoted the Yoruba culture from using its fabrics, dress code, meals, and language and lifestyle to draw the attention of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
