Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Response Team at Lekki has recovered the body of suicidal, adult male that jumped into the lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.
Gatekeepers News reports that the body of the victim who jumped into the lagoon on Tuesday was recovered on Thursday.
The Permanent Secretary, LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said the body been bagged for onward transition and further processing by the Agency’s Response Team.
Oke-Osanyintolu in a statement said, “The recovered body has been handed over to family of the deceased in conjunction with the LASEMA RESPONSE UNIT, SEHMU, LASWA Rescue Team and officers of the Nigerian Police Force from Maroko Divisional Police Station.
“Operations Concluded.”
