Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Wagner, is reportedly among the passengers of a crashed Russian plane that claimed the lives of all 10 individuals on board.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a Telegram channel associated with Wagner, called Grey Zone, reports suggested that the aircraft was shot down by air defenses in the Tver region, north of Moscow.
Russian Emergencies Ministry says a private aircraft has “crashed” near the village of Kuzhenkino, resulting in the deaths of all on board.
The ministry states that the jet was en route from Moscow to St. Petersburg, carrying a total of 10 people, including three crew members.
Prigozhin, who led a brief 24-hour mutiny in June, has maintained a low public profile since then.
He was last seen in a video this week, reportedly filmed in an undisclosed location in Africa.
This is a developing story…..
