Some workers of Abia State, Southeast Nigeria have prevented the State Accountant-General from entering his office over non-payment of their salaries.
Gatekeepers News reports that a video shared by a Facebook user, Prince Clinton Uba, on Tuesday, showed the workers scattered outside the office as a black SUV was being driven out.
A female voice in video said, “We have worked here about 20 years and you are keeping us hungry, what will you call this nonsense, nobody will enter this place instead we will go and lock that gate.”
