Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Napoli find themselves pitted against the formidable Real Madrid in a thrilling UEFA Champions League (UCL) draw ceremony.
Gatekeepers News reports that the in draw, held on Thursday at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the Group C also includes Portugal’s Braga and Germany’s Union Berlin promising an electrifying showdown.
The draw, jointly presented by Eric Abidal and Joe Cole, legends of Barcelona and Chelsea respectively, delivered another exciting clash in Group A, where Bayern Munich and Manchester United are slated to lock horns. FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray complete the group lineup.
In a fortunate turn, reigning UCL champions Manchester City received a favorable draw, finding themselves grouped with RB Leipzig, Crevna Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade), and Young Boys in Group G.
The first round of group stage matches is scheduled for September 19 and 20, marking the start of intense competition.
The 2023 UCL final will be held in Wembley stadium, London, in June 1
