Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Senator representing Edo North, has expressed his deep condolences following the passing of Chief (Lady) Monica Alimikhena, the Iyi-Iyase of Weppa-Wanno Kingdom.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a heartfelt message conveyed through his Chief media aide, Victor Oshioke, Oshiomhole paid tribute to Lady Monica, lauding her as a woman of remarkable virtue.

The Former Edo State Governor highlighted Lady Monica’s steadfast support for her husband and her invaluable role as his trusted advisor.

Oshiomhole also emphasised her unwavering commitment to championing the empowerment of rural women and her selfless dedication to community causes.

He acknowledged the profound bond between Lady Monica and her husband, Senator Francis Alimikhena, recognizing the immense impact her loss would have on the family.

Acknowledging the inexplicable nature of her untimely passing, Oshiomhole urged Lady Monica’s family to find solace in their Christian faith, which offers the promise of resurrection. He extended condolences, on behalf of his own family, to both the immediate and extended Alimikhena family, the Weppa-Wanno Kingdom, and the entire Edo North community, recognizing the irreplaceable void left by her departure.
