Kano state high court has nullified the suspension of Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Gatekeepers News reports that this ruling comes after an ex parte motion was filed in a suit with the reference K/M1157/2023.
Presiding Judge Usman Na’abba also restrained members of the faction that suspended Kwankwaso from acting as national officers of the party.
Last Tuesday, The NNPP’s board of trustees, led by Boniface Aniebonam,Founder Of the Party, suspended Kwankwaso, citing allegations of anti-party activities. However, a faction within the party, loyal to the former governor of Kano, quickly reversed this suspension.
