CBN Defers September 2023 MPC Meeting

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has deferred its 293rd meeting originally scheduled for September 25 and 26, 2023. A new date for the meeting will be communicated at a later time.

Gatekeepers News reports that Director, Corporate Communications, Isa AbdulMumin announced this in a press release on Thursday.

Although, the reason for the deferment wasn’t stated, the committee however, apologised for any inconvenience the decision may cause to stakeholders and the general public.
