Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced that the N25,000 provisional wage increment for the average low-grade worker would now cover all workers.
Gatekeepers News reports that Gbajabiamila made the announcement at the ongoing meeting with the representatives of the federal government at the presidential villa, Abuja.
Earlier during his independence speech, Tinubu announced a provisional wage increment for the average low-grade worker to cushion the effect of the removal of the petrol subsidy.
The organised labour at the ongoing meeting rejected the N25,000 provisional wage increment for the average low-grade worker.
