Borno Lawmaker’s Daughter Murdered In Maiduguri
Amma Buwa, the daughter of a member of Borno State House of Assembly, Bukar Abacha, was reportedly strangled to death by unknown persons in the Gidan Dembe area of Maiduguri, the State capital.

Gatekeepers News reports that the incident was said to have occurred around 6:30 pm on Tuesday when the deceased’s husband had left the compound to a nearby mosque for prayers.

The husband of the victim took the corpse to the Police station, saying he found her lifeless body in his house with her hand and legs tied behind her back while her two-year-old child was crying.

The Gwange Police Division evacuated the corpse to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for autopsy and investigation.

Meanwhile, a family source (name withheld) who shared the news of the incident on his Facebook page said the remains of the deceased would be buried today (Wednesday) morning in Maiduguri.

“Inna lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un.

“Mrs. Amma Buwa was killed by some hoodlums earlier today after Ishai prayer when some unknown men invaded her house after her husband left for the masjid to pray.

“Amma is the daughter of member Representing Ngala at the state House of Assembly.

“The janaiza (burial) will occur at 777 Housing Estate by 10 am in Maiduguri.

“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” he wrote.
