Maintenance Manager

Required Qualifications: BA/BSC/HND
Location: Oyo | Nigeria.
Job Description:
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, including technicians and maintenance workers, ensuring they are well-trained and organized.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, allocating resources efficiently to meet maintenance needs while controlling costs.
- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and prolong asset lifespan.
- Regularly inspect and assess equipment, systems, and structures for signs of wear and tear, damage, or potential issues.
- Coordinate and prioritize repairs, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring necessary items are readily available for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards, conducting safety audits and promoting a culture of safety among the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work and services when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Proven 8 years’ experience in maintenance management.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations.
