JUST IN: Supreme Court Dismisses APM’s Appeal Against Tinubu’s Victory

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal by Allied Peoples Movement (APM) against the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Counsel to the APM had applied to withdraw the appeal after the Presiding Judge lampooned him for filing a matter that has already been decided by the Supreme Court, upon which the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal had dismissed their petition.

Although the counsel was told that he can proceed with the appeal if he desires, but that he should note that the Supreme Court is not a court for academic exercise. The counsel thereafter applied for the withdrawal of the appeal and the appeal was dismissed accordingly.
