Oshiomhole Applauds S’Court Verdict on President Tinubu’s Victory

Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole has applauded Supreme Court’s verdict, which affirmed President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election.

Gatekeepers News reports that Oshiomhole applauded the judges of the apex court in a statement released to the press on Thursday.

He commended thes judges for their courageous, meticulous, and judicious handling of all the issues raised in the petitions brought before them for final adjudication.

The Edo North Senator stated that “the judgement has decisively resolved any doubts, both within and outside the country, regarding the legitimacy of INEC’s declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the rightful winner of the presidential election.”

The former governor of Edo State, urged all presidential candidates who had pursued legal action to now rally their supporters, both at home and abroad, in support of President Tinubu and his government, enabling the nation to progress.

Oshiomhole said, “There is no doubt that President Tinubu has Nigeria’s best interests at heart. He possesses the capacity, experience, will, and courage to implement policies and take actions that will restore Nigeria to its former greatness. Now that the Supreme Court has affirmed his victory, it is incumbent upon all Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliations, to set aside any contrary hopes they may have had for the February 25 election, and embrace the reality of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope presidency, for the love and well-being of our country’s people”

He offered his prayers that God would endow the president with continuous good health, greater wisdom and the courage to make decisions that will lead Nigeria to its deserved greatness.
