Although the home side dominated for a while, the visitors improved in the second half, with Bellingham providing inspiration after equalising and later scoring the winning goal.
The 20-year-old English midfielder joined Madrid from Borussia Dortmund for £88.5million in June. He has scored 13 goals in the 13 matches played for the Merengues this season.
The Saturday victory helped Carlo Ancelotti’s men to regain the top spot in the league on goal difference, with the capital city side and Girona both on 28 points after 11 games.
