Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has lost his 92-year-old father, Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo.
Gatekeepers News reports that the late sage, known as (Ichie Akukananwa 1) in the Aguata area, passed away in the early hours of Monday, November 6.
The nonagenarian was previously kidnapped from his Aguata country home and was released days later.
Pa Soludo is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, twenty-two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
His son, the governor, has described his late father as someone who lived a fulfilled life and reached the ripe age of ninety-two.
The community has expressed shock at his sudden passing, as he was described as strong until a few days ago. He was widely regarded as a peacemaker, and his loss is deeply felt.
