Gatekeepers News reports that Emefiele has been in detention since June 9.
The court previously ordered the EFCC to either release him unconditionally or produce him in court to be granted bail. However, the EFCC initially failed to comply with this order.
Emefiele had sought an order to compel the EFCC to release him from custody, pending the determination of his fundamental right enforcement suit or, alternatively, grant him bail. He faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm, ammunition, and corruption.
