Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, has welcomed the three-time Guinness World Record holder, Jaan Roose, who walked on a rope across a Lagos bridge and railways.
Gatekeepers News reports that Roose showcased a thrilling Slack-Lining walk across the skyline of Lagos, spanning from Sterling Towers in Marina Lagos to the Onome Rig.
The video of the visit was shared by Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor, on his X page on Friday.
The caption read, “Governor of Lagos State, Mr #jidesanwoolu ably represented by his Deputy, Dr #drobafemihamzat today received Red Bull Athlete and 3-time World Champion Record holder, Jaan Roose, who performed a daring Slack-Lining walk over the Skyline of Lagos, from Sterling Towers, Marina Lagos to the Onome Rig.
“Jaan says coming to Lagos is a wonderful experience for him, he says he got the best view and angle of Lagos from that height. Jaan also told the Deputy Governor that Lagos State is a very advanced city and spoke glowingly about the Lagos Blue Line Rail he saw while performing the act.
“The Deputy Governor thanked Jaan for coming to Lagos and telling the world a very good story of the State.
“Mr Deputy presented Eyo Masquerade 3-D collection to Jaan Roose as a gift from the people and Government of Lagos State.”
