A diesel tanker was engulfed in flames at Ojota inward interchange, prompting a rapid response from emergency services in the early hours of Monday morning.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the incident on X (formerly Twitter) where it said its personnel are on-site.
While the cause and extent of casualties are yet unknown, the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service reports that the flames have been successfully extinguished, bringing the situation under control.
“Situation in Ojota is under control as the peddler truck conveying Diesel inward Ketu that went on flame has been extinguished,” the post on X read.
