All 109 Nigerian senators have collectively donated their December salaries, totaling N109 million, to support the victims of the accidental bombing in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, made this announcement during a visit to the Kaduna Government House, where a Senate delegation met with the state governor, Senator Uba Sani.
The senators expressed their solidarity with the victims, and Senator Barau conveyed that the funds would be handed over to the state governor for distribution to those affected. The governor extended his gratitude for the senators’ donation.
