Finance & Accounting Graduate Intern
Job Specifications:
- Full Time
- Required Qualifications: BA/BSC/HND
- Location: Abuja | Nigeria.
Job Description:
- We are looking for a detail-oriented entry-level graduate who is fascinated with numbers and excited for an opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment. Your responsibilities will range across most finance functions.
- The position is a one-year paid internship and candidates with excellent performance will be retained and offered a full-time position. The company will also sponsor professional exams if the candidate is looking to obtain a professional finance qualification.
- The ideal candidate should have an exceptional academic background in the areas of finance and accounting, and have an ambition to build an equally exceptional career as a finance professional.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Recent Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 0 – 2 years work experience.
- Minimum of a second-class honours, upper division (2:1) undergraduate degree qualification
- Interest in pursuing ICAN / ACCA is a plus
Skills and Attributes:
- Organised individual with ability to draft documents, maintain records and archive documentation
- Excellent numeracy, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail – ability to accurately document and verify data
- Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form
- General knowledge of various productivity and finance software applications
- Analytic mind with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a diverse, team-based environment
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet tight deadlines.
