Multichoice Satellite which operates DSTV and GOtv has bagged last minute broadcasting rights for the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Gatekeepers News reports that SuperSport channels on DSTV and GOtv will now air all 52 matches of the 2023 AFCON competition in Cote d’Ivoire.

This was confirmed in a tweet on Wednesday night.

It simply read: “No gree for anybody! Watch all 52 matches of the #afcon2023 on

@supersports.”

Last week, Gatekeepers News reported that Supersport would not be able to broadcast the AFCON.

Nevertheless, SuperSport along with NTA, will beam the tournament live from Cote d’Ivoire.

NTA in a post on X had said, “NTA signs a memorandum of understanding with Afro Sports TV for transmission of 52 games of African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.”

AFCON 2023 kicks off on Saturday, 13 January 2024.
