Mabel, the wife of Nigerian comedian AY Makun, has taken to Instagram to raise alarm over an alleged threat to her life.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a post on Thursday evening, she stated that if anything happened to her, there was one person to be held responsible.
While she didn’t mention specific names, the mother of two also said she was heading to the police station to report the matter.
“The threat to my life is actually getting out of hand and if anything happens to me, there is just one person to be held responsible. Headed to the police station,” she wrote.
In a subsequent post, the entrepreneur mentioned that she has endured mental abuse for too long and has reached a breaking point.
“Been abused mentally and all round for way too long and I have had enough,” she added.
Last April, Mabel had previously addressed critics amid her husband’s longstanding rift with another comedian, Basketmouth.
She emphasised the need to protect her space and noted the frustration of those who had planned against them.
“I realized a long time ago that wizards do not only gather at night but during the day as well. They will call it pride but protect your space,” she wrote.
“It’s not going the way they gathered and planned it. They are frustrated, they can’t hide it anymore.”
