Gatekeepers News reports that Dangote Group, in a statement on its X, listed the marketers to include members of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DPPMAN), Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) and Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN).
“Three prominent associations, that constitute 75 percent of the total market in Nigeria have been registered.
“The Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, and the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria,” the post read.
Dangote Group said it was still “considering other marketers that have signified interest” to be partners with the refinery.
Dangote Petroleum Refinery commenced the production of diesel and aviation fuel on January 12, 2023, but it is yet to disclose when the products would be available in the market, and neither has it announced when it would commence the production of Premium Motor Spirit.
