German giants Bayern Munich will be parting ways with its manager, Thomas Tuchel, at the end of the season.
Gatekeepers News reports that an official announcement is set to be made in the coming days by Bayern.
Sky Germany reports that the 50-year-old will leave Bayern after both sides had “fair and positive discussions” and came to an agreement.
Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann at the German champions in March 2023 on a deal until June 2025.
The former Chelsea boss will, however, depart a year earlier than planned as part of “a sporting realignment” at Bayern.
He led Bayern to last season’s Bundesliga title after taking over in the spring but they now sit eight points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen after back-to-back league defeats.
According to reports, the Bundesliga champions have started a search for a new coach with Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp among the top contenders.
