Store Officer

Job Specifications:

- Full Time

Required Qualifications: BA/BSC/HND
Location: Ogun | Nigeria.

Job Description:

You are required tokeep stock of inventory and manage all operations in the store. From ordering, receiving to managing inventory, these professionals ensure safe custody of all store-related inventory.
General knowledge of inventory management and store handling procedures.

Apart from this, a storekeeper performs various day-to-day activities:

- Manage all operations of the store
- Ensure goods receipt note (GRN) and Goods Issue Note (GIN) is issue timely and accurately

Verify all goods arrived as per agreed purchase, delivery note, and agreed quantity have been received
Keep records of items transferred to another location
Maintain records of diesel purchase and consumption.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure that essential items are always available.
Conduct regular inspections of inventory to identify and remove any damaged or expired items and report to supervisor.
Address issues related to inventory shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items promptly.
Propose and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of the store-keeping process.
Other duties that may be assigned to you by your Supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- HND / B.Sc in any Social or Science related discipline
- 1-3 years of cognate work experience as Storekeeper
- Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with inventory management and optimization techniques

High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
Integrity, professionalism and integrity
Experience with farm operation will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office.
