Putin Wins Russia’s Presidential Election

The Russian presidential election held on Sunday saw Vladimir Putin emerge victorious with around 88% of votes, according to the first official results released after the poll closed.

Gatekeepers News reports that this election took place amid significant restrictions on opposition and freedom of speech in the country.

Only three ‘token’ candidates were allowed to run against Putin, and none of them opposed his war in Ukraine.
