REVEALED: See List Of Lagos Areas Enjoying 20-24 Hours Power Supply

Full List Of Band A Areas To Enjoy Over 20 Hours Power Supply In Nigeria
A list of areas in Lagos State that experience 20-24 hours of power supply has been unveiled.

Gatekeepers News reports this comes amid the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC)’s authorized increase in the electricity tariff for customers under the Band A classification.

According to the Vice Chairman of NERC, Musliu Oseni, the updated tariff will see the customers paying N225 kilowatt per hour (KW/h) as compared to the previous tariff of N66.

The Band A tariff plan subscribers are the ones who enjoy 20-24 hours of electricity supply daily, and the list has been prepared by the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company. Band A customers represent only 15% of the 12 million electricity customers in the country, with about 1.8 million subscribers.

Customers under Band B enjoy 16 to 20 hours of electricity supply, while those in Band C enjoy 12 to 16 hours daily. Band D subscribers receive eight to 12 hours of electricity supply daily, and Band E subscribers only enjoy four to eight hours of electricity consumption every day. It is important to note that the review will not affect customers on the other bands.
