Head of Supply Chain

Job Description:
- The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end Supply Chain processes within CHI Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
- This includes planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Supply Chain products.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic Supply Chain plans to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
- Ensure the availability of Supply Chain products while minimizing excess inventory.
Procurement:
- Source and negotiate contracts with Supply Chain manufacturers and suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sources of Supply Chain products.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions.
Logistics Management:
- Oversee the transportation and distribution of Supply Chain products.
- Optimize transportation routes and modes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and secure deliveries.
Inventory Management:
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust reorder points to meet demand fluctuations.
- Implement efficient tracking systems to manage and trace Supply Chain products.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Supply Chain distribution.
- Implement quality control processes to guarantee the integrity of Supply Chain products.
- Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to address compliance issues.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Supply Chain manufacturers and suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement strategies.
Cross Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments such as Sales and Finance to align Supply Chain strategies with overall business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address Supply Chain issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using Supply Chain management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and Project Management Skills.
