Gatekeepers News reports that the school established in 1980 by former Governor of Bendel State, Professor Ambrose Alli is one of the examination centres selected for the conduct of WAEC exams.
The school’s examination hall is in a very bad condition. The Principal of the school therefore reached out to the old students who had over the years maintained the school to once again come to their aid.
In their usual tradition, the old students accepted and asked the Principal to get a Carpenter to provide an estimate for the renovation work. An estimate was promptly submitted and while the old students were mobilising to fund the project, Afemai Coalition for Asue Ighodalo got wind of it.
The Coalition in the spirit and belief of giving education a priority in the scheme of things has enunciated by their principal (Dr Ighodalo), decided to take up the responsibility and pay for the renovation of the examination hall.
This prompt intervention will enable the school meet up its responsibility as a centre for the conduct of WAEC and remain so in future which is a desire of both the school management and old students.
At the time of filling this report, the contractor handling the project was being mobilised to site to commence work in order to put the hall in proper shape for the exams which commences next Thursday.
