Afemai Coalition For Asue Ighodalo Meets Waterboard Women And Youths

Afemai Coalition for Asue Ighodalo has continued its campaign to drum up support for Dr. Asue Ighodalo’s aspiration to transform Edo State.

Gatekeepers Newsreports that in a recent meeting held with women and youths of Water Board also known as Idani Race in Auchi, Etsako West LGA, the Coalition highlighted Dr. Ighodalo’s impressive track record of positively impacting Auchi and Edo North, demonstrating his potential to propel Edo State towards a first-world economy.

The women were commended for their unwavering support during the last local government elections, which led to one of their sons being elected as the Councillor for Ward 2. They shared their challenges, including the need for financial support to grow their small-scale businesses and the impact of insecurity on their farming activities.

In response, the Coalition encouraged them to form a cooperative to access microcredit opportunities, including those offered by Dr. Ighodalo. They were equally informed, that Dr. Ighodalo prioritizes securing the state to unlock its tourism and economic potential.

The women were urged to promote continuous voter registration among their families and communities.

By empowering women and youth and fostering community engagement, the Coalition aims to build a stronger, more prosperous Edo State with Dr. Asue Ighodalo at the helm. This collaborative effort will drive meaningful change and create a brighter future for all.
