Former President Goodluck Jonathan has urged Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, to put aside their differences and work together for the development of Rivers State.
Gatekeepers News reports that Jonathan, while speaking at the flag-off ceremony of the Trans-Kalabari Road project, emphasized the need for unity, saying, “Outgoing and incoming governors must work together for the collective interest of the state.”
He warned that the ongoing discord could destabilize not just Rivers State but the entire country, given its strategic importance in the Niger Delta.
