Court Remand Verydarkman In Police Custody

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday remanded the social media influencer and critic, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, in police custody.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Police Force earlier arraigned Verydarkman on five counts bordering on cyberstalking.

The social media critic was also in March 2024 remanded for cyberbullying offense.

His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, applied for bail but the prosecution team requested Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon of the Federal High Court for more time to respond, hence the court adjourned the bail hearing to May 29 and Verydarkman was taken to the National Cybercrime Centre.
